More Miles and Funky Tan Lines

Just a quick recap today, as I sandwich this post between the Rango premier and dinner, from a longer road ride on a very gusty day. I decided to switch it up a bit and head back onto the road lanes of Tree Line Ave and Three Oaks Parkway, and although the wind didn’t cooperate (16-18mph with gusts in the high 20’s), I still managed to rack up 33 plus miles. The traffic was busy, but all the drivers were very courteous and mindful of all the cyclists on the road.

All in all a very pleasant extended ride, but it’s time to break out the sunscreen as the ever present and powerful Florida sun is doing a good job of toasting me on the rides. I’m getting the ever popular and oh so funky cyclist tan…time to head out to the beach and correct the matter.
