Muy Bien Vamos

Señor J has been doing a great job keeping up during his first break-in rides. We did an early morning 22 miles to GCTC today, maintaining a 17 MPH average speed into the wind on the airport leg. He was a little disheartened though when two, more mature (ok older….I just wanted to be politically correct) female riders blew past us near the airport. He didn’t feel so bad when we caught up with them at the next light and found out they were two wily veterans practicing sprints. All in all Señor J is doing great. He’s racked up a little over 50 miles in two days…not bad for a first timer.

Afterwards we decided to reward his effort by packing up our families and heading to the water park for some hydrotherapy…ok, ok lazy river rafting may not be hydrotherapy in your book, but it is relaxing! Tomorrow might just be a day off for him as he is “feeling the rides” now.
