Albert Update 2

Maureen at CROW, The Center for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, sent me an update on Albert, the rescued Red-Shouldered Hawk we found on the roadside two days ago. She mentioned that he was not released today as he developed a slight limp in one leg. They felt one more day of observation was in order.

She was kind enough to forward a couple pictures of him too. I’m sure Albert is in good hands and will be back out in the wild soon.

For more information about the excellent work done at CROW, surf on over to their website at http://www.crowclinic.org, or better yet, if you are nearby, go visit. They are located on Sanibel Island right by the J. N. ”Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
