Lacing Up, Day Sixteen: No More Walking

A little running milestone today…keeping in sync with my wife’s training program, we graduated from walk/run intervals to running full time now. Gone are the days of listening to that friendly voice on Abvio’s Runmeter telling us to walk, as from here on out we will be working on steadily increasing our distance with each run, and, if all goes well, we’ll be ready to tackle our first official 5k in two more weeks.

Fierce roar…no more walking, just a lot of running from here on out.

There will be no resting after successfully completing this 10 week program since we will immediately transition to the 10k program followed by the half marathon program…after all, we have a half marathon to run come December 1st…so T-minus 240 days and counting!
