“I’ll crawl through several layers of hell”: Galibier on a Track Bike

The Giro took on a snow covered Galibier and Telegraphe over the weekend. Monumental as that is, Patrick Seabase, a Swiss bloke with a very correct hipster stache, took on the challenge of climbing and descending the Galibier on a fixed geared track bike…mind you that’s no brakes or coasting with 47×14 gearing climbing 2,556 meters over 34 kilometers… and lets not forget the brakeless 50 kilometers decent!

Brilliant and F*cking crazy at the same time…well done sir!

Our weekend rides in “pan flat” Florida may not have had the same degree of madness, nevertheless, they still were great rides.
